Welcome to the Calgary R/C Home Page. This page is mostly dedicated to the radio control clubs based around the Calgary area. If your club is not listed here, please let me know. All types of radio control clubs are welcome, including those for on-road, off-road, or gas cars, any type of radio control helicopter or airplane clubs. Please contact any of the clubs for more information regarding where and when they meet to fly or race. Also, suggestions on what to add to this page and how to improve it would be welcome.

Foothills Flyers

The Foothills Flyers is a Calgary based R/C helicopter and airplane club. It has two flying fields available to club members: one is a helicopter based field in Calgary; the other is both airplane and helicopters and is located about 30 minutes east of Calgary, near Strathmore.

C.A.R.C.A.R.
Calgary Alberta Radio Control Auto Racers

C.A.R.C.A.R. is Calgary's on-road racing club. All forms of radio control cars are raced indoors during the winter, and switched to outdoor asphalt oval racing in the summer. C.A.R.C.A.R. utilizes a permanent racing facility during the winter, where it hosts its annual Lexan Bash.


Alberta Military Modellers Show
The AMMS has a rich history of military modeling here is Alberta, Canada.  The show actually started in Bragg Creek, AB as the Alberta AFV Modellers show in 2002.  The show has evolved and grown and we are happy to announce the expansion and change to AMMS on our 10 year anniversary to include all modeling subjects that are military related..


RCGears is a non-profit organization dedicated to the radio control off-road enthusiast.  If racing is in your blood, bring your 1/10th or 1/8th scale electric and nitro powered vehicles to the track for some fun!  Whether you are looking into the hobby, interested in information watching, or a seasoned veteran, RCGears has the information and race classes you desire.


Calgary Model Boat Racing Association
Calgary Model Boat Racing Association is an RC boat club and a member of NAMBA like their sister club Edmonton Model Boat Raising Association.  They have about six local races each year. 


Calgary Radio Control Soaring Society


CRAMS
Their flying field is located just south of 17 Ave SE and ½ mile east of 68 St SE.

Calgary Model Airplane Club
Specializing in the free flight side of the hobby in Calgary and area.


Airdrie Modelers
The club supports fixed wing, helicopter, multi-prop and drone flying. They have a well established field with both a north/south and an east/west runway, covered in dark fabric and several well established pilot stations. The field is just East of Cross Iron Mills. Chinook Winds RC Club
Meetings are at High River Legion Hall about three times a year. The 10 acre field is located off Highway 2A at 466 Ave E, next to Cargil Meat Packers.  Contact information is available on the website.

Regina Fastraxx 
Regina Fastraxx is a non-profit organization founded by a small group of people that wanted a fun place to run their R/C cars. The club is geared toward providing a comfortable, available location for both the casual hobbyist and the serious racer. If you have a car, stop by and kill some batteries. If you don't have a car, stop by and see what your missing! There are always people around that can set you up with just the right car and all the free advice you can take. Spectators and guests are always welcome!


Sky Rangers Model Flyers 
The Sky Rangers Model Flyers Club was designed to maximize the fun in R/C model flying and to maintain a high level of good fellowship and comradery between club members, and the other clubs in the interior. A dedicated group of flyers began forming our club in 1987 and obtained our charter in April of 1990. We also try to fly year around ( weather permitting).
The aim of our website is to acquaint you with the many interesting aspects of our hobby/sport. Our website is put on by the Sky Rangers Model Flyers of Kamloops, British Columbia. We are one of three clubs in the Kamloops area. The other two clubs are the High Country Flyers (http://www.highcountryflyers.homestead.com/) in Logan Lake and the Kamloops Model Airplane Society (http://www.kmas-rc.cjb.net/) at Tolko Field in Heffley Creek.
